At the heart of all armies, especially the Bretonnian armies, lie the characters. Without these awesome beings of might and prowess, Warhammer would be dull and unexciting. Characters add flavour to the game, allowing for plots and campaigns to go on beyond the scope of the battle itself. The noble heroes of Bretonnia face off against the vile and wicked lords of their enemies. This is what makes Warhammer special.

The main special character of my army is Lord Imrahil. Follow the link to his page to learn what you will about this mighty Bretonnian lord! I also have a dozen other characters that are related in some way to Imrahil's ascension to lord of a prosperous province in Carcassonne. These characters are outlined here.

The guide to heraldry is as follows: plain fields are commoners, shields with a single blazon are characters of note, and shields with the grail are true heroes.
